Degrees of opportunity

The University offers Foundation Years specially designed for students whose qualifications are not quite appropriate for direct entry onto the 3-year (or in a few cases, 4-year) degree course of their choice.  

Business Foundation Year| - for students wishing to enter the areas of business, marketing and finance.    

Technology Foundation Year| - for students looking to further their careers in architecture, construction, computing, electronics, engineering, maritime, technology and shipping.  

Sport and Tourism Foundation Year|  - for students who would like to study in the areas of football, health and fitness, outdoor leisure and tourism. 

We also offer a Language Foundation Year| - for overseas students, this provides intensive training in English prior to starting a course at the University.
